I came in to Larbert Hospital to have my gallbladder taken out. I came in in early March at 8am. I went to my ward and was seen to and taken to my room in 2 minutes. I was blown away by how fast things went, it was fantastic.
I got taken to the waiting room to check my details, then went in to get anaesthetic in ten minutes. I woke in my room with oxygen mask on. I was in very little pain. Before I went for op, I had blood taken and something put in my arm to give drugs. I hate needles.
After about 5 minutes I felt I was about to faint. The nurses were with me straight away to take care of me. The level of care and respect you are shown on this ward is awesome.
I can say that if I have to come back, I know I’ll be ok with them.
