About: Northern General Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I had hernia repair surgery at the Bev Stokes day surgery unit recently.

I was very apprehensive about the surgery but from the moment I went into the unit I was made to feel welcome and put at ease by the excellent staff.

The surgery went very well, I am surprised how little pain I had, and how little I am feeling pain after 24 hours.

The Northern General hospital should be very proud of this unit and the wonderful staff. I can only give it the highest marks possible.
