I cant praise the hospital highly enough. I came in for general surgery early in March and was in for a week. Everyone involved was professional and helpful - the nurses on A4 worked so hard and often worked through their breaks and went home late - total dedication to their profession. The food was enjoyable too. My pain levels were assessed and controlled constantly. I wasnt discharged until the surgeon was happy with me ( on a previous visit to a different hospital I was discharged and in total agony!) Very happy with the outcome too. Thank you :) The only downside as far as Im concerned was the initial wait - having been told to come in for 7.15 am and then not going to Theatre until almost 3pm - but I must stress this isnt the hospitals fault (Government dictate) as apparently everyone is entitled to see the surgeon before their op and as mine was in surgery all day this meant seeing him before he went in at 8am and then I was way down the list.
