I arrived at hospital just before 12 noon to have an angioplasty on my left leg. I was escorted to the reclining room in day care and had a good conversation with another patient who happens to be in the ‘House of Lords’.
Before going to a room where I could change into gown and leave my clothes, I was then taken to radiology theatre where angioplasty was performed with medicated balloon and I could see catheter and arteries on the screen, and doctor discussed the procedure with me.
I was taken back to the room where my clothes were and rested overnight. Very professionally done by all.
