"Long may your excellent work continue"

About: Specialist Therapy Services / Community Stroke Team – South Notts

(as the patient),

After having had a slight stroke, I needed to help regain my confidence in walking and speaking. I had difficulty in swallowing, was unsteady on my feet and soon became breathless after the slightest exertion.

The three therapists who came to see me were helpful in giving me tips, suggestions and providing me with exercise programmes. Helping me to build up my physical strength and writing, which had become more difficult.

All of them were most pleasant and helpful. I have found their work has helped me considerably to feel much better and that I am on the right path to asking a significant recovery.

So thank you once again to Kirsten, Emma and Esther. Long may your excellent work continue.
