I came in as a day patient and stopped overnight. I had a small operation on my tear ducts. I must commend the anaethetist with The best send off" I.ve ever had. As a patient the most apprehension I had was the anaethetic In the County I've just moved from the hospitals tend to administer it straight into the back of the hand, but this was from a drip it was a very pleasant way "to go" very calming I got to the double gin and tonic stage and just drifted off.. Excellent. There is a small criticism I have, on the day of discharge I was seen by the Surgeon who signed me off at 8:40 a.m. but had to wait another 5 hours for medication. Is it not possible when a patient goes into the Theatre for the op.( if it is a routine one) the medicines could be ordered at that time. They would then be ready on discharge thus freeing up a bed. Overall 10 out of 10 for my stay
