My visit to see my partner on ward C5 at the Queen's Medical Centre was very distressing. From what I saw, the treatment of the frail and elderly patients on this ward was disgraceful - some weren't fed; some were left on their own for hours; some were left in pain and appeared to be neglected by staff. God forbid I ever end up in this place - it was shocking!
