What I liked
The Consultant was knowledgeable and thorough in her examination of me. She correctly diagnosed several problems I had had years ago. She decided to give me various tests that my previous consultant (at a different hospital) did not do.
What could be improved
When I first arrived the nurses all seemed to be sitting on the desks and chatting to each other. I was ignored for a good 10 minutes. When I gave my name the nurse could not find my notes anywhere, but instead of talk to me and apologising he left me standing there for another 10 minutes while he blustered and got cross. I was told to sit and wait and was left waiting for 40 minutes. I found out from the consultant that my notes were lost, but no apology was given.
The consultant did have an awful habit of talking over me when i was trying to answer her - I felt it was rather rude and nearly said so.
"The Consultant was knowledgeable ..."
