What I liked

I recently had an operation on one of my hands at the hospital and the Customer Service I received from everybody I came into contact with was First Class. the Consultant was very easy to talk to and explained everything thoroughly and they were excellent in arranging my appointments and very efficient in promptly sending out correspondence. I had my operation on Ward 4 and the staff there.....well they are fantastic. A very special mention to the lady who was lovely, she really looked after me and was so friendly, caring and very positive. In addition, the Nursing Sister took time out to explain everything and the care was outstanding - they are a real credit to the Hospital and nothing is trouble to them at all. In fact, everyone on my Ward commented how lovely they were. the person who administered the anathestic was fantastic, I did not feel sick at all which I have always been in previous operations and lady was excellent in the Pre-op room - again very caring. she came with my to the pre-op room and held my hand and was careful and skilfully administered the needle in the back of my hand (which I don't like) and she held my hand and reassured me throughout - it meant such a lot to me. I cannot express my gratitude enough to such caring professionals - thank you all. This is by far the best care I have ever received during a hospital referral. With my best wishes to you all.
