What I liked

Once seen by the doctor the consultation was thorough and good but actually getting the appointment was very frustrating

What could be improved

I have yet to experience to receive an appointment without having to chase it up and being sent around in circles from the 'choose and book' to the secretary and back again. This bureaucratic system is just not working - letters from GPs are going missing or 'choose and book' are waiting for letters form consultants - while in the meantime it gets forgotten about that I as a patient need to urgently see the consultant. This system is not putting patients first and therefore not effective or efficient, not to mention the unco-operative staff making the appointments.
