"She made me see the seriousness of my condition"

About: Adult community services / Heart failure support services

(as a service user),

After release from the CCU, I was very ill and no sign of recovery, and 3 visits from GPs made no headway to recovery. By various means inc intervention by my GP I was referred to the community heart failure service.

After her tweaking of medication and other care, I soon returned to a semblance of normality. She made me see the seriousness of my condition, which I did not realise was as grave as is. A point which needed pointing out a little strongly to make me realise.
