"I can't thank Inclusion Matters or my therapist enough"

About: Inclusion Matters Wirral

(as the patient),

My time and treatment at Inclusion Matters was with a lady called Heather, and all I can say about her is just WOW!

Having been to CBT before, and it not working out for me, I was slightly sceptical to how much it could help me.

After becoming sick of seeing evidence of my hair pulling (I suffered with trichotillomania) I decided to seek help.

When I came to my first appointment with Heather, I was instantly put at ease. It wasn’t scary. She was SO kind and understanding, and I left with confidence that maybe I could overcome my problem.

As each session progressed, I wasn’t overwhelmed and I had clear goals for each week, and they were achievable.

Sometimes it was hard to achieve these goals, as is the nature of therapy, but they were by no means impossible.

Another great thing about it was that Heather never forced an opinion on me, or “you do this because”, she let me talk through my underlying issues, and guided me into coming to conclusions on my own. This is what I think was made me, this time, “get better” so to speak.

I was able to identify with thoughts that made me feel this way and why.

I can’t thank Inclusion Matters, or Heather, enough. I can honestly say I can go the rest of my life with the techniques given to me and say I AM CURED!

Thank you!
