"praise for the Diabetes Foot Clinic "

About: Locala Community Partnerships CIC / Podiatry

(as the patient),

Due to complications with my feet due to diabetes (I'm in a constant fight with my body to save my last 4 toes). To help with this fight I see the Locala Diabetes Podiatry Service every 2 weeks. Due to having to have such regular appointments the organisation I work for threatened I would lose my job. The locala Podiatry Service are fantastic and helped with this by offering me appointments before work. This has helped so much as it has stopped the stress of me losing my job. The team are brilliant as not only do the team offer me fantastic care for my feet but also are flexible with clinic times which allow me to continue to work. Thank you so much to Joanne, Paul and the rest of the team.

We are really aware of the balancing act patients have to walk between attending foot appointments and attending work, which as you say, can cause a lot of stress. That is the main reason behind us being flexible around appointment times.

It is really heartening to hear your fantastic feedback.
