I was refereed to this centre by my GP after suffering pain in my back. The appointment letter gave very little information about what to expect. When I arrived I was seen by a male who asked me to strip to underwear. I felt extremely uncomfortable with this male and asked if I could go. I wish they could have given more information on my letter about what to expect. Also, women should be told that they could wear sports bra and sports shorts instead of being asked to strip by a male like this. I felt there was no dignity and the experience has left me cold. Eventually able to see female health worker who was understanding. This experience has put me off the centre and they should look at how they treat women patients. Please, ask to see a female !!
