"Elective Surgery on Stanway Ward"

About: Colchester General Hospital

I was admitted for surgery last week and have nothing but praise for the treatment I received. I was kept informed about the procedure before and after the operation. The nursing staff were caring, kind and friendly and I was treated with the upmost respect. Was only a 2 day stay so didnt sample much of the food but what I had was good and there was a varied menu and the food was served up hot. Because of the bad publicity I was dreading going into hospital but all was good. Thank you
