"Trip to A&E, fracture clinics and subsequent..."

About: East Surrey Hospital

As a result of damaging and fracturing my elbow I attended A&E on the day of the incident and was seen and through the entire process (nurse, doc, x-ray etc) within 1.5 hours from walking in which I thought was excellent. Subsequently I had to attend fracture clinics and then physio, I have to say throughout, the processes were efficient from reception staff to the medical teams. All the staff I came into contact with were extremely professional and courteous, well done East Surrey Hospital, you are a great reflection of the good NHS values.

Dear Anonymous

Thank you for your kind words about East Surrey Hospital and your treatment for a fractured elbow. It was really good to read that you were treated so efficiently and quickly in A&E. The fracture clinic can be a very busy clinic so it is particularly good to read that you found the process there to work so well.

Its also really to read your comment about NHS values - these are something that we aspire to do all the time so its very good to read that you saw it in action.

Kind regards

Ian
