"Disgusted with the way I've been treated"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

I attended the hospital on Wednesday 5th march in pain was sent home and had to be back the next day for a scan to he told I had blood clots in the womb. And either miscarriaged or having a ectopic pregnancy was then sent for blood test and sent home again and had to wait for a call with results so Friday comes I wait all day in the end I rung and got my results and was told to come back up Saturday for another blood test them results was lost so had to go up again forore blood tests on Monday 10th march it's now Tuesday 11th at 5.47pm and still no phone call and have rung myself twice to be fobbed off on the phone just like the whole weekend I've now gone private and no what's wrong with me so good job I did because I'm still waiting for my results and for the doctor to ring! I think this hospital is a disgrace and will go to maidstone hospital from now on! I find the staff on the early pregnancy ward rude and missable. And maybe shouldnt be doing this kind of job cause they don't seem to care about there patients !!

I am very sorry to hear that your recent experience, at the early pregnancy clinic, did not meet your expectations. This is disappointing as we strive to maintain high standards of care. I would like to discuss your concerns with you so we can make the possible changes to enhance the experience of women who attend the clinic in future. I would be grateful if you could contact me on 01634 830000 x5720 Monday –Friday 8am to 4pm. Thank you. Wendy Chapman Nurse Practitioner
