My husband has dry macular degeneration and this was our third visit. On all of these occasions the staff have been very pleasant, and although we initially waited in reception we then used the automatic check in service and we could then be seated whilst waiting to be called. The receptionist is very always busy and their are always long queues but we have always been cheerfully greeted. The specialists we have seen have always tried to be helpful and the procedure my husband had carried out was done quickly and although their in no known cure to help macular sufferers the advices given were helpful. We were not hurried when we asked questions about this condition. Just a pity that nothing can be done for dry macular degeneration sufferers.
