I was very well looked after, very pleased with all the services, from doctors down to catering and the cleaning staff. I've always been impressed by the Northern General. I have been a few times.
On this occassion I was in for pneumonia and suspected PE (Pulmonary Embolism). I have had this condition before and developed it at home. Dr Mcginty at Woodhouse Medical Centre was great, he realised that it had happened before and arranged for an ambulance. I went to A&E first then to medical assessment then on to Chesterman ward 3.
The staff treated me like one of their own. The ward was very very good. You just couldn't ask for better staff, nothing was too much trouble. I was suprised with the quality of the food.
