"Excellent care at Thirlestaine Breast Clinic"

I took my mother to the clinic after discovering a lump. She was given an appointment within the 2 weeks as expected. When we arrived we struck at how clean and quiet the whole building was. The receptionists were lovely and very informative on arrival. The waiting room was equipped to keep you from worrying with up to date magazines and a large TV. We were greeted by a friendly nurse who explained the procedure of examination by the consultant (who was straight talking and very understanding of the fear aspect of the situation). The consultant was able to identify my mother had a cyst behind her nipple using an ultra sound, this was treated efficiently and respectfully. Mum then recieved a mamogram for both breasts which the nurses were lovely at providing. The consultant then saw mum again for the results (no waiting around). All in all mum thought the staff were professional and thoroughad the whole building was bright and very clean.
