"Pain clinic"

About: Broadgreen Hospital

Had an appointment with the pain clinic specialist on a Sunday. The interview lasted about 10 minutes and was then discharged. I have had to wait over three weeks for the specialist's letter to be faxed to my GP. I had telephoned the department five time only to get the answering machine. None of my messages were answered. The letter had still not been signed by the specialist but have now been told that the letter can be faxed to my GP without a signature. When i inquired if my GP would act on an unsigned letter. I was told a signed letter would follow the following day. Very strange that the specialist is that busy for over three weeks but miraculously the secretary can assure his signature the day after me getting through. Very poor follow up by this clinic
