What I liked

I was admitted as an emergency to the male surgical ward. Having been treated in many hospitals during my life, I have to say that my treatment and comfort was exceptional. I found staff without exception were caring and professional, with nothing too much trouble. The food was of excellent quality / quantity and even the cleaning staff declaring that they enjoyed their work, and it showed. Considering that I was ill, I was made very comfortable and would definitely feel confident in returning for more treatment if neccessary.

What could be improved

Communications between professional members of staff were chaotic, which prevented the smooth operation of the system and too much reliance was placed upon memory to ensure that things get done (which they occasionally don't).

Anything else?

I was called down to Ultrasound at 16.50, upon arrival at 17.20 the staff who called me down had packed up and gone home 10mins early. Definitely let the side down.
