"It was excellent from start to finish"

I've recently had treatment from the Department of Podiatric Surgery within the Day Surgery Unit at Holme Valley Memorial Hospital.

I was greeted warmly and made to feel welcome by everyone, from reception onwards, at every appointment and throughout my treatment.

When having surgery I expected to feel a little anxious but the staff were so chatty and kind it completely took my mind off it. My comfort and treatment were their top priority. The whole experience was very positive, pleasant even.

Noticeably, everyone seems to very much enjoy their work, are happy to be there and valued working with each other. That's great to see.

I had expectations of the service I might receive but this team exceeded all of them.

I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to have this treatment and to have had it delivered by such an outstanding team. It was excellent from start to finish. Many thanks for that.

I would not hesitate to recommend this service to my family and friends. It's a model of good practise.
