"Good experiences at Hull, Lincoln, and Castle Hill hospitals"

About: Castle Hill Hospital / General surgery Hull Royal Infirmary / General surgery

(as the patient),

I have been in and out of hospital for the past 3 and a half years; for treatment of my gall bladder at Hull Royal Infirmary; for a hernia at Lincoln; and most recently for haemorrhoids at Castle Hill hospital. In each hospital, the experience was very good. I can't complain and can't thank the staff enough. In each hospital, the atmosphere was very good.

Dear Vet269,

Thank you very much for your comments about your experiences at Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital.

NHS Hull is the organisation responsible for deciding how money is spent on local health services (also known as commissioning), ensuring those services are of high quality and meet local needs.

We have passed on your compliments to our colleagues at the hospital and they have confirmed to us that they have noted these and have passed them on to the staff involved. We have also informed our commissioning department of your feedback as this helps with their monitoring of the quality aspects of our contract with the hospital trust.

Thank you once again for taking the time to let us know about your experiences.
