iI recently attened to the eye clinic for a cataract operation and was treated like Royalty and as if I was having Private Care....The Staff were Professional Friendly and caring...the Surgeon explained in great detail as to what would happen to me,very reassuring before the operation and all went wel,and again taken very good care of before leaving for home with tea and biscuits...brilliant. 3 weeks on reason to attend A&E due to a fall and once again Receptionists very kind explaining the waiting period, due to many patients but was kept informed at regular intervals. The Doctor,or Medical Assistant, attending to me was excellent very thorough, very kind and caring explaining the resulkts of two Xrays..that showed no breakages...but didnt dismiss me decided he would like a further MRI scan at The Heartlands..which I will attend.. All the Nursing Staff plus Army Medics on duty that day were more than helpful, all very pleasant and more than anything Professional in their Duties..I have nothing but high praise for this Hospital..and will let the Consultant, who kindly replied personally to my letter, know that I would recommend any stay short or long at that hospital.. I shall be attending a Mammogramme also next week again promt efficient correspondence..and contact... So thankyou for keeping me alive!Solihull Hospital...
