What I liked
The ward (Dorcas) was very clean, well run and pleasant. The staff were brilliant - and patient and explaned things when asked. My surgeon was was fantastic! a real gentleman - he deserves a medal!
The food was good, I am veggie and that was no problem! Everybody was excellent about cleanliness, with a lot of handwashing and cleaning going on!! The curtains around the bed were paper and disposable - no germs there!
Everyone was helpful - the nurse deserves a medal - he didn't flinch = even when I nearly threw up all over him!
What could be improved
The overall noise, as always in hospitals, was very high! I found it impossible to sleep - except after my op and drugged up to the eyeballs!
Anything else?
I had the best view of London at night from my ward!!! You would pay a fortune for that in a hotel! :)
