"I feel a stronger individual as a direct result of therapy"

About: Inclusion Matters Wirral

(as the patient),

My first thought – why does it take so long to get an appointment? I was struggling with coping with depression and resorted to anti-depressant medication.

When I finally got to start my talking therapy, I had a weekly session with Paul. I felt valued, listened to, understood and my depression was put into a context. I felt my depression was a natural response to the problems I faced in life.

Talking therapy helped me to off load my problems without being judged. Nobody told me to sort myself out, you need to do this. Paul listened, gave me some good insight and reflection on my problems.

He helped me to clarify my thoughts and to start to deal with me feeling in a constructive way.

I am very pleased I was referred to IM. I feel benefits of the therapy I received. And I feel a stronger individual as a direct result.

I would recommend IM as a service to anyone who is struggling with their emotional well-being.

Thank you for your support.
