"My GP gave me Choose & Book ..."

What I liked

My GP gave me Choose & Book forms & I phoned to make the appointment. The hospital cancelled the appointment FIVE times & I am still waiting to be seen 11 weeks later havinf first ben given a date in early October. I have phoned the hospitaL & have twice been promised a phone call back to sort out an appoitment & twice staff failed to phone me back. I was told that my 4th appointment was cancelled because the clinic was set up in error as the surgeon was on call & no clinics can be made for someone on call. Clerical staff seem unable to co-ordinate anything; especially keeping the patient informed & keeping promises. They are totally letting the hospital down

What could be improved

Actually doing what staff promised they would do & taking into account the patuents rights & needs.
