On discharge was not informed of what they had finally done, I did ask but not sure with detail, there is assumption you must know. However did have the coded letter for GP & a copy for me so they get paid?reality it's about operating on as many people as possible. Was informed follow up in 8 weeks time at discharge. However it was a 16 week follow up. Another letter arrived recently to say postponed until 7 months post op. Addenbrookes hospital should not carry out surgery if they cannot make time to follow you up. Prior to the operation told major surgery.Would not recommend the hospital for surgery as you will not get a follow up fast. Just make sure you ask what they did to you in the end before you depart, you may not see them for months. Go elsewhere.Did try phoning the appointments could not get through(17 mins twice on hold) did try PALS but gave up and didn't leave a message as no one really cares anymore.targets that's all that matters.dont go here.
