"Excellent ante and post-natal care from the Royal..."

I am writing to thank the staff at the Royal Free for their level of care for me and my baby throughout my pregnancy and post-natal period. The Green Team midwives were really top-notch and had useful and tailored advice for me after my baby was born prematurely and helped us get on a structured feeding regime that has enabled him to thrive. The staff in the delivery ward - especially the doctor who delivered my baby, and the nurse who looked after us so kindly in the delivery room - were fantastic. I had a very quick labour, and was 4 weeks early , so was very shell-shocked afterwards and she made me feel calm and relaxed in a very overwhelming time for me. The midwives on 5 South were also fantastic. Also the breastfeeding midwives were so helpful and without their advice I doubt I would still be breastfeeding today. We were also (unfortunately) in the Royal Free again last week with our son who had bronchiolitis. The staff on the children's ward and in the pediatric A&E were also great. They looked after my son so kindly and made us feel very at ease. The doctors were also all very professional and I was very impressed at how often they would visit us during the day and night to check up on my son. Thank you to the Royal Free for providing an excellent level of care with friendly, warm and professional staff in what are quite overwhelming times for new parents.
