Hi my mum is in the MAU ward at the moment and the care she has received so far has been fantastic, the ward is very clean and the staff very efficient and caring and when I have been with her they are very open with any information regarding her care and treatment My only criticism would be of the young doctor who assessed her condition and was very nice but spoke in a medical language and acronyms that I couldn't understand let alone my 87 year old quite deaf mother. However he was obviously concerned and caring. She has had a previous experience where she had a mastectomy which was also very positive and dealt with very efficiently and sensitively the after care has been fantastic too. Even when the nursing staff have been in a rush they have always taken time to answer any questions, I cannot speak highly enough for the hospital and would choose it over others in the area.
