About: Colchester General Hospital

I recently attended the Elective Care Centre for a Urological type biopsy and I feel that must report the excellent care, kindness and consideration given by the consultant and his delightful team. I was extremely anxious regarding the procedure as I had endured a very serious infection (Sepis) when I previously had this procedure at another Essex Hospital. From the moment my wife and myself entered the Unit, every staff member was most kind and considerate to us. The consultant took the time to explain in detail what was involved with the procedure. I am pleased to report also that there is no sign of the dreadful infection that I had endured previously. From the many patients that I know like myself we have nothing but praise for Colchester Hospital and its mainly dedicated staff.
