"Knee Surgery"

About: Hexham General Hospital

I had minor knee surgery on 19 February 2014 at Hexham General Hospital and because the Day Surgery Unit was full I was looked after in Ward 3. I can not speak highly enough about the care and attention I received. All staff were helpful, caring, friendly and very supportive - in fact 'nothing is a bother to them'. I also appreciated their sense of humours. All my experiences at Hexham General have been lovely. Thank you all for everything.

Dear Jean What an absolute delight to read your description of care on ward 3 at Hexham Hospital. We know how very hard the team work to provide the type of care that is centred around the individual needs of each and every one of their patients. I am so pleased that this was your experience. It will be my pleasure to share your experience with the team. I know they will be over the moon! I hope you are continuing to make a good recovery. Best Wishes Annie
