After having a gastric band fitted privately i experienced difficulty with it, i wasn't able to return to my doctor who is in Birmingham. I was told that doctors on the NHS were very unhappy to deal with private cases . I was very reluctant to seek help . But after doing so i can say with hand on heart the treatment i received was first class. All staff from consultants to cleaning staff were all professional . I would never hesitate to return to sunderland general .
