"Bladder Prolapse Operation"

About: Worthing Hospital

I was admitted to Worthing Hospital for a bladder prolapse op on 19th Feb 2014 and from the moment I arrived I was put at ease. The anesthesist explained fully what would happen, as did the surgeon. I didn't feel rushed and could ask as many questions as I liked. After the op I was placed on the Gynaecology Day Unit for my overnight stay. This was because as Worthing was short of beds they opened up day wards and employed agency nurses (I believe this was the case) to staff the ward over night. Both the night staff and day staff were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very thoughtful and caring.
