I have been receiving treatment at the Bradford Royal Infirmary over the last 2 years and there has always been complications with the admin side of the care.
They got my records confused with those of a 9 year old boy on one occasion. I am 70.
On another occasion, I went for an eye appointment. I waited 2 1/2 hours, only to find that they didn't have my notes. As a result, the doctor couldn't treat me, which seemed like a complete waste of time for me.
They have now told me to go back to an optician to have my eyes tested and start the process again.
They keep getting my name mixed up because it is unusual - they thought that I should not be white with a name like mine.
The admin department needs to improve.
