"childrens ward c2"

About: Russells Hall Hospital

My son was admitted for 8 days with a sinus infection the care of the drs & nurses was amazing every1 was so kind & helpful I was also very impressed with the hospital volunteers who came round to entertain the children & make them feel at ease & due to there being a teacher on the ward my son was able to do school work & his school can now mark him as not absent. Overall our stay was comfortable & we're going back next week to donate some toys & books

Thank you for taking time to give us feedback about your son’s stay on our children’s ward. We understand that seeing your child unwell in hospital can be a difficult experience but we are pleased that it was made as pleasant as possible for both you and your son. We are delighted to hear you will be visiting again to donate toys and books to the ward; our staff will be very appreciative of your visit. Please call our charity fundraising manager on (01384) 456111 extension 3349 to arrange your visit. We will be sure to pass your lovely comments on to the team involved in your son’s care.
