"Dissapointing treatment and a sink bed!"

About: Barnet Hospital

I was extremely disappointed by the standard of care that I received at BGH on the weekend of the 21-23/02/14. The treatment from A&E, AAU and recovery were faultless but I could not say the same for the ward nor the DSU. On the ward I was put on a sink bed with no respect or dignity. The bed that was offered to me was taken away from me on the ward that I was meant to have so I was put in a filthy DSU that I assume was never cleaned since Friday as the bins were overflowing. I don't eat any dairy so my choice for breakfast was dry bread as they did not have any jam, no other hot drinks were served to any in-patient other that breakfast. Are sink beds new to the hospital as nobody seems to know anything about them?
