"lack of consideration"

About: Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust / Adult mental health

(as the patient),

I attended an appointment today at the PHC to find that all the murals I had painted in the relaxation room had been painted over. Whilst I can understand that this may be required due to change in usage it would have been kinder to have been informed rather than just finding this and would have been easy to find out who had done the paintings.

Thank you for your patient opinion posting and we are very sorry for any upset this has caused. The room that was used for relaxation has been relocated and is now required for a different purpose. That particular relaxation room is located within our acute care facilities and was used by a high number of people attending the in-patient and day hospital service for a relatively short periods of time. Unfortunately due to the high volume of people using this room over a long period of time who have continued to contribute and add to the artwork on the walls anonymously is was not possible to identify each individual. We are very grateful for your contributions and hope that you continue to find ways of sharing your art work with people.
