What I liked
The manner in which all members of staff engaged with my elderly Mother, treating her with respect and patience at all times and explaining everything to her as they did so.
What could be improved
I cannot fault the staff in the A and E,
the ambulance crew were also very good.
Anything else?
That was my first visit to the new A and E, we arrived on a busy morning by ambulance and any waiting time was kept to a minimum.
Having been to some A and E wards in the course of my work the standards of care at University Hospital was far greater than my expectations.
