What I liked
Staying in hospital over christmas has got to be most people's worst nightmare, including mine. At 19 years old i had never expected that anything would make me so unwell that i would be away from my family at christmas. I was simply too unwell to discharge myself, although i was highly tempted....but not because of the care i was recieving. In fact i cannot think of anything more the staff could have possibly done to make my stay more comfortable. Decorations were placed around the ward and visiting times were made wonderfully lenient! My boyfriend was able to spend the whole day with me on christmas day and i even woke up to find a small gift beside my bed from the nuses (or santa!) I was, in fact, so pleased with the faultless care and warmth i recieved from the staff that i returned after being allowed home, just to say thankyou for their kindness. Luton and Dunstable's Respiratory Ward deserves admiration from all, they are the most wonderful and kindest team of people i have possibly ever met.
What could be improved
Nothing! Everything was absolutely faultless.
