Just wanted to share our personal experience with you both regarding the care my husband had over the weekend.
My husband felt very unwell in the early hours of Saturday morning resulting in me contacting NHS 111.
I was warmly greeted by a Nurse called Kelly, she was very supportive and efficient in her assessment of his symptoms and I felt very confident in her advice.
The OOHs Doc visited and examined him, wrote a prescription and gave us lots of sensible advice, she was extremely professional and polite (even took her shoes off because it was wet outside, can’t even get my kids to do that! ).
Thankfully it was nothing sinister, a viral inner ear infection causing him to feel extremely sick and dizzy.
Both Kelly and the OOHs Dr were very caring and considerate and both of us were really impressed by the service.
