(as the patient),

I was feeling down after I had a big operation on my back.

The lady I saw for the time I spent with them was very helpful, and really made me feel like things were going to get better. I knew if it was going to take time but she was very good and easy to talk to.

I felt very relaxed around her and that’s what helped me the most – being able to talk to someone who could help.

Having a big operation is very distressing, and I am pleased that you have found talking to your therapist helpful. It sounds like you felt very comfortable with your therapist and able to talk openly and I hope this has helped you through this difficult time.
