"Ward 14 King's Mill Hospital Mansfield"

Outstanding care. Being a senior nurse myself did not prevent me feeling terrified about my condition and the required surgery.

From the minute I arrived I was made to feel so welcome by the most lovely receptionist - Nikki is a real asset to the ward. Every single member of the nursing team that cared for me were wonderful - special mention to the lovely Helen who made me laugh even when I was crying!

Also the two lovely student nurses -Holly and Jess who demonstrated that the 6 C's are definitely in abundance at KMH! And thanks to the Deputy Ward Leader Vallett for her efficiency and kindness. Oh and Bindu and Kathryn and everyone else on nights.

I could go on and on because everyone from the cleaners to the wonderful surgeon were amazing (including the physiotherapist, anaesthetist, porters, theatre staff....) and I thank each and every one of them.

Everyone else too.
