Following our eldest daughter being stillborn followed by 2 miscarriages we were understandably anxious when we found out we were pregnant with our elder daughter born 2010. During my pregnancy I was given care on PDC & by consultant. I will just say that the midwives & my consultant was all amazing. I was reassured & when I was admitted for induction as planned I was cared for by the most fantastic midwives on labour ward (was still at the dukeries then). The midwife that delivered my daughter was brilliant. In 2011 I gave birth to our son after again receiving excellent care from all the midwives (PDC, labour & maternity ward) & my consultant. After saying that I wasn't having anymore babies (my son was quite a big boy at 9lb 7oz) in 2012 we had our youngest daughter. With my youngest I was admitted on rest at 38wks because our baby was a little naughty & was transverse & showing no signs of turning. At 39+2wks my daughter was delivered by c section after she refused to turn. My point is that even considering my eldest daughter being stillborn I have nothing but the highest praise for the best team of midwives, doctors & consultant I have had the pleasure to have caring for me & the most important people in my life - my kids & partner (i include my partner because he received enormous consideration throughout also). Well done & thank you for all you did to help me deliver 3 gorgeous babies.
