" I was seen straightaway and would recommend the hospital"

About: University Hospital Ayr / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

After the tendon in my Achilles heel snapped and I was unable to walk my brother-in-law took me to the Ayr A&E. On follow up visits my wife was able to take me.

The doctors and nurses were really good and overall the service was great. I was not left waiting around; I was seen straightaway and would recommend the hospital.

Dear Cultured330

Thank you for your encouraging posting about our great team at Accident and Emergency at University Hospital Ayr.

The very thought of the pain you must have been in when your tendon snapped, makes me wince, but arriving at A&E and being seen straight away, must have been a relief for you!

I will be passing your posting onto the Health Care Manager who covers our A&E Department, who will in turn pass this onto the team.

I hope you are making a good recovery, Cultured330.

Kind regards

Kate
