The visions I have of A&E are of crowded waiting rooms and long waiting times. At Lincoln County hospital on a Saturday morning there were a few people in the waiting area and I was expecting to be there for the long haul. How surprised I was to have filled in the form, be seen by the nurse, have an X-ray and a report back, out of the door within 15 minutes of arrival. I was very impressed by the efficiency, the friendliness of the staff and the seamlessness of the process.
