"My mother was seen in the A&E ..."

About: Fairfield General Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked

My mother was seen in the A&E department and I have nothing but praise for the service we received. The nursing staff and doctors kept us well informed of the process my mother was going through and were very friendly at all times. My mother received her treatment in just over an hour and half which we thought was very quick for an A&E department.

What could be improved

We were given a prescription for the pharmacy but had no idea where to go for it. I think it was a fault on both parts as the nursing staff never told us where to go, we should have asked before we left.

We're glad that your mother was well treated at A&E. Sorry about the prescription, but we appreciate your comments. We do have signs, but staff will always be happy to point you in the right direction if you are unsure of where to go in the hospital.
