My daughter has had surgery to her hips to remove screws, one broke and surgeon unable to remove as did not have right equipment!
Went back (in August) and told would have surgery in 3 months, eventually got a date for March.
This was cancelled today by a bad tempered secretary who said had other things in her mind than dealing with us! All this after college and work had authorised leave.
Meanwhile my daughter is left with a screw protruding from her bone which causes her leg to be swollen and bruised and is in agony at all times to the point she cannot climb stairs or walk for long.
Shame on you Leeds Teaching Hospitals, you are a disgrace to the NHS as a whole and to the caring profession.
Unfortunately I cannot afford private and cannot put my daughter through 3 months more pain to be referred elsewhere. I am seeking advice from a solicitor.
