"Orchard Park Centre: Wax removal"

About: City Health Care Partnership CIC / Treatment rooms

(as the patient),

I had an appointment to have my ears syringed at the Orchard Park Centre last Tuesday. I went to have them done and when the nurse had finished I asked her if all the wax had come out – she said it was all out. I felt dizzy afterwards and asked her about this – she said it would pass but It went on for longer than she said.

Last Friday I had to go to my own GP’s surgery and I asked the nurse there about my ears as I still didn’t feel quite right. The surgery nurse looked into my ears and said there was still a lot of earwax there. I had more olive oil put in and went back yesterday to have them syringed again.

The nurse at the Orchard Park Centre should not have said all the wax had been removed when it had not.
